Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in the year 1980. She is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native who was born and raised by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). She is of Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen was able to show a flair for the arts at a young stage. In 1992 she won her first role at her audition in Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell's mom enrolled her with an agency just before she turned 13; she was then featured in TV commercials as well as newspaper advertisements. Also, she began acting lessons in private at the age of 13. Bell was a character who did not have a credit of Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz production in her high school earned Bell the leading Dorothy part. Bell studied in musical theater at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell quit the school in 2001 and took on the part of Becky who is a character from Tom Sawyer. Her first film credit with Pootie Tang during 2001. The scene however cut, and her appearance only appears in the final credits. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell was as a character in the Broadway production of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
