Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26, 1978) was born in Campinas, Sao Paulo. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997) are among her best-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira is a Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime participant in the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime. She joined in March of 2020. She is currently an integral core team for multilateral engagement participant and analyst in the Assassination Witness program. The GI TOC's research focuses on murders (including disappearances) or violence as well as various other forms of crime related to illicit economics. In addition to the organized crime aspect, her research is focused on human rights implications as well as international human rights law. Ana Paula has an LL.M. cum laude (with the highest distinction) with honors International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She has an LL.M. with a concentration in Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a lawyer with a license and has worked in the law firm that focused on litigating in the public sector for more than four years. She has also held assisting roles with non-governmental organizations that are based in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
