Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell was born in 1970. She's five foot nine" tall American actor. Mitchell played the role of Dr. Juliet Burke, a character from ABC's Lost. The Escape Clause and Gia. Mitchell is co-starring with Eric Kripke in the television series Revolution that airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell is her stepfather, and Josephine Marian Mitchell (nee Jenkins), her mother are both Dallas-based lawyers. Mitchell moved along with her mother, into Dallas, Texas in 1970. Her mother later married Joseph Mitchell. Mitchell has graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts an all-public magnet school. She is the oldest of her three sisters, her two sisters are Kristina Kristie Mitchell (the youngest) and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. In 1991 she graduated at Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and also studying in the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for six years at the Dallas Theater Center and a time at the Encore Theater. Most well-known is her portraying Special Agent Emily Prentiss (CBS crime drama Criminal Minds) In June of 2010, the show announced that the Criminal Minds role would be diminished to just half for the sixth season. Brewsters' character left the TV series in March 2011and could be back in the future.
